My name is Krys Garnett. I am a student of Egyptology, having just completed my Cert. HE in Egyptology at the University of London, and moving on study for a BA in Egyptology at the University of Liverpool. My specialist interests are the development of political structures and their relationship to state religion from the Old Kingdom to early 18th Dynasty.
Pavements of Silver is a blog on all things relating to Ancient Egypt initially created as a way to produce a travelogue of visits to various Egyptian archaeological sites, and to help the spread of up to date news relevant to Ancient Egypt, but also has an increasing number of brief articles focusing on specific Pharaonic artefacts and aspects of Egyptian religion.
Feel free to comment and raise any questions or queries. I can also be contacted via email at k.j.Garnett@student.liverpool.ac.uk, or via Facebook

I’m glad to meet you Krys.. I hope we meet the next time you visit.. I’m definitely not mainstream egyptology but your naming it this way suggests a lot..

hi, great blog.
I have just started an egyptology blog myself.
I have been interested in the ancient civilization since i was a child. It is nice to find people like minded.
